From its early beginnings, Soul2Sole filled a niche in the market by providing monthly gospel club
nights for young people to socialise and enjoy uplifting gospel music, which proved a success.
Several years on, it expanded towards being the brand that represented the Gospel Sound System
at St Paul’s Carnival in Bristol.

Husband and wife team Mel and Carmen Carrol Co-Presented their Soul2Sole radio show for 9 years on Ujima Radio 98FM Bristol, which is a community-based radio station that reaches 25,000 listeners weekly. They no longer run their show on air but still run the hottest Gospel Sound System in the South West through our DJ hire service playing the best in upfront Urban Gospel & Uplifting Soulful House.

DJ Mel Carrol is passionate about his music and this comes through his delivery whilst playing at your event. It could be the fact that he puts down some dance moves maybe a giveaway. Mel has been involved in music from his early teens where he developed the art of playing multiple instruments. This combined with his love of urban grooves with a positive message from his gospel roots has seen his music being played on several radio stations based in Cardiff, Bristol, Leeds and London for many years.

During this time, Mel has developed a passion as a DJ, pouring all his energy into bringing inspiration to both Christians and non-Christians. Mel’s ability to understand the needs of his audience has seen him playing at some of the UK’s best events in Cardiff, Bristol, Bath, and London.
