Bristol Churches Response to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Bristol Noise and Christian Action Bristol (CAB) are now working together in a completely coordinated way to help the efforts around the Coronavirus crisis.

  • Bristol Noise will continue to coordinate incoming offers of volunteering requirements and volunteering asks via this page

  • and Christian Action Bristol will seek to gather outgoing news, information, campaign requests, etc on this website

We are all very aware of the emerging situation with regards to Coronavirus (COVID-19), which is of course changing on a daily, if not hourly basis. This is a time for us as a church community, along with others across the city, to show a spirit of generosity and kindness.

The Bristol Churches City Fund (partnering with Bristol Noise and Christian Action Bristol) is raising funds for what is becoming a critical need across the city.

The URGENT task is to raise funds to support the effort to get food to where it is most urgently needed.

So, we are asking for an outpouring of generosity from Christians and churches across the city to contribute to this Fund.

The Fund will channel much-needed finance to purchase additional food supplies, including those items that are not easy to source elsewhere at the moment.

Every donation will be directed to providing food to food banks across the city, and will make a huge difference to the lives of thousands of families.

1.  Make a donation online by visiting

2. You can also donate by texting 70460. To donate £2 text ‘CITYFUNDFOOD 2', £5 text 'CITYFUNDFOOD 5', £10 text 'CITYFUNDFOOD 10’. Texts cost the donation amount plus one standard rate message.

3. Share the Bristol Churches City Fund with friends and family, communities and churches, etc. Help spread the word and encourage others to join in supporting the food crisis in our city. Read more
